2026 WINTER CONFERENCE
Join us for the 2026 VASS-VASBO Winter Conference! This year's conference will feature a host of presenters and panelists to discuss emerging issues and hot topics in school business. This year's program will entail an overview of what to expect from the 2026 General Assembly session, an update from the Virginia Retirement System, time for networking, and much more! Additionally, VASS and VASBO partners will be on-site for informal networking and to discuss the latest in school business products and services.
REGISTRATION
All conference attendees are required to register online HERE. The 2026 VASS-VASBO Winter Conference registration fee for individual and division-level members is $485 per person.
The Registration deadline is Friday, December 15, 2025.
The $485 registration fee is non-refundable after 4 p.m. on Monday, December 15, but registrants may send another person in their place.
HOTEL INFORMATION
This year's conference will be hosted at the Richmond Marriott Downtown in Richmond, VA. All attendees should make hotel reservations online. VASS and VASBO have reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate of $196/night, plus applicable taxes and fees. A link for reserving hotel rooms will be emailed to all conference attendees upon registration.
**Please note that the discounted guestroom cut-off date is December 16, 2025 or when the room block is full. After this, the hotel may not be able to honor the discounted room rate.
VASBO PARTNERS
We invite VASBO’s partners to attend the 2026 VASS-VASBO Winter Conference. All partners must register for the conference through our online registration system, HERE. Registered partners will receive a table in our vendor area as well as access to all sessions and meals offered as a part of the conference registration. Diamond, Platinum, and Gold partners receive complimentary registrations as follows:
Diamond- 4 Complimentary Registrations
Platinum- 3 Complimentary Registrations
Gold- 1 Complimentary Registration
**Additional registrations can be purchased for $625/person.
Not a partner yet? Join as a 2025-26 VASBO Partner by emailing admin@vasbo.org. Non-partners can reserve booth space and one complimentary registration for $1,500 - if available.
Exhibition space set up: Partners will be able to set up booths on Sunday, January 4th beginning at 2pm. Please have booths fully set up by 7am on Monday, January 5th. Exhibit spaces include a six-foot table and two chairs.
Electricity- All exhibitors can reserve electricity for $55. To reserve electricity for your table, please do so through the online registration system.
Shipping- Any exhibitor wishing to ship materials to the Richmond Marriott Downtown ahead of time, should coordinate directly with the hotel. For more information on shipping procedures, click HERE. 30-second video- VASBO's Diamond and Platinum partners may submit a 30-second video to be played during the conference. The video must be downloadable and no longer than 30 seconds. Please email a downloadable version of your video to admin@vasbo.org by December 15, 2025.
