VASBO goals

To promote the establishment and observance of the highest possible standards of ethics, efficiency and economy in all matters pertaining to school business management.
To increase membership, both individual and vendor, by providing opportunities for educational enhancement via workshops and networking through fall, winter and spring conferences.
To disseminate the most efficient policies and practices related to the management of the business and finance services within the school division through professional education opportunities.
To develop a program that will allow the Association to become visible and influential among legislators through dissemination of a legislative program and lobbying efforts.
To affiliate with other professional educational associations for the purpose of strengthening educational endeavors.
To cooperate with the Southeastern Association of School Business Officials and with the Association of School Business Officials-International in efforts to improve school business management through educational opportunities and networking.

The mission of the Virginia Association of School Business Officials is to promote the highest standards of school business practices for its membership through professional development, continuing education, networking, and legislative impact.
